Alliance Psychiatric Group

Privacy Policy

How this website handles your information.

Overview

This policy explains how the Alliance Psychiatric Group website collects and uses information when you visit the site or submit an appointment request. The website is for general information about our practice. It is not a patient portal and is not designed to collect detailed medical records.

Information we collect

If you use our online appointment request form, we may collect the following:

  • Required: your name, phone number, and whether you are a new or existing patient
  • Optional: email address, preferred appointment type (in person, telehealth, or either), provider preference, preferred contact method, insurance carrier name, how you heard about us, and a short general message

You choose what optional information to provide. We do not require an email address to submit a request.

When you browse the website, our hosting provider may automatically receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. We use this information to operate and protect the site, not to build advertising profiles.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, coordinate an appointment request, and communicate with prospective or existing patients about scheduling. Referral source information, when provided, helps us understand how people find our practice. We do not sell your information.

Please do not submit sensitive information

Website forms are for appointment requests and general contact only. Please do not include detailed medical information, diagnoses, treatment history, Social Security numbers, insurance member ID numbers, or other sensitive identifiers in the form or optional message field.

This website is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, you may also call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

If you need to share clinical information for your care, our staff will guide you through the appropriate process after we contact you.

How appointment requests are delivered

When you submit an appointment request, your information is sent from your browser to our servers for validation, then transmitted electronically by email to Alliance Psychiatric Group staff so we can follow up with you. If you provide an email address, it may be used as the reply address so our team can respond to you directly.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through this website. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. Email and standard web forms cannot be guaranteed to be fully secure, and information you send may be intercepted despite our safeguards. For that reason, we ask that you limit what you share to what is needed for an appointment request.

HIPAA and your health records

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through this website. It does not replace Alliance Psychiatric Group's Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes how protected health information is used and disclosed when you receive care from our practice. A copy of the Notice of Privacy Practices is available from our office.

Analytics and cookies

This website does not use advertising trackers or session-replay software. We have not installed analytics tools that track your browsing behavior across other websites.

Some pages include an embedded map provided by Google. Google may collect information about your interaction with the map under its own privacy policies. We do not control that collection.

Third-party service providers

We work with service providers that help us host the website, deliver email notifications from appointment requests, and display embedded content such as maps. These providers process information only as needed to perform those services for us.
